“I only came over to seek a dance, but did not understand one was already underway. Dancing doesn’t always involve feet. Your jealousy and proprietary actions and intimidation techniques are noted.”
Molly ignored the deliberate profanity. It was beneath her. Once pointed out she refused to listen, as she did with Sean.
“I will save a dance, Captain Jangles, if you can clear it with your current partner. Didn’t mean to cut in.”
Molly thought Lisa’s friend could do better. But love and relationships went where they would. Judging was bad, even if cursing was rude.
Molly spotted Sean already heading in their direction. She sighed. She knew he meant only love and protection, but breathing was a necessity at times. He WAS attempting to give her room to be, against his own nature, but her being involved with loud meant the shield would shield.
“Best head off the papa bear before he snarls and snaps.” Molly gestured to her uncle. “Remember your promise. Quieter company awaits.”
Molly also spotted Lisa off to the side, her eyes on them. She waved cheerily.
