Sean wore one of his usual black suits. With any luck he'd fade into the background. With Molly on his arm he knew he would.
This lovely young woman on his arm barely seemed like his coltish little Molly. She looked lovely, and sexy. A siren. He was going to have to keep an eye out. It was difficult enough letting her have independence when she didn't look like one of her works of art.
"You're going to have fun. You have to have one dance that isn't with me." Molly was chattering away. "You're going to talk to people and meet my new friends. And you are not going to glare at any man who talks to me."
"I won't glare at men who talk to you." He nodded, making it seem he was agreeing to everything. Talking didn't earn glares. Dancing didn't. Invasion of personal space did.
"Dance with someone not me. Say it. Say it or I'm going to do something awful like point you out to all the girls." Molly's green eyes really shone surrounded by dark kohl.
"One dance." He gave a little.
She seemed determined to force her idea of fun on him.
"Come on. I see Lisa and Savannah! Come on, meet Lisa first." She pulled his arm, literally dragging him along.
He was thrilled to hear Mol was making friends. He did want to meet them, make sure they were being up front and not mocking his little girl behind her back.
