CJ took his hand in a firm handshake and introduced himself with a simple, "CJ." His eyes slid to wander the length of the bar briefly before he turned back to Kaz with a response. "Depends who you are, how lucky you might be," he grinned back and shrugged. "I broke even so I can't complain."
He turned towards the bartender to accept his drink which he promptly brought to his lips. The drinks had been forthcoming in the casino of course but he'd been more focused on the cards than the alcohol. Now it was time to play catch up.
He sat his drink down with an audible thump and reached into his inside pocket for his pack of smokes. Nudging one out, he stuck it between his lips and lit it with the cheap yellow Bic. "Working or vacation?" he asked Kaz. He should probably know who was performing on the ship but he didn't. He hadn't paid any attention to that or much of anything else for that matter.
