"Cute guy, though," Savannah said. She couldn't quite wrap her mind around this strange creature who had joined them. She was the sort of girl Savannah had left to her own devices in school -- or asked for help in class, if necessary.
And she was still trying to figure out Lisa, too. There was something about her that Savannah couldn't quite put her finger on. It was a subconscious thing, a skill learned in school among the best smiles and the worst personalities.
Lifting her shoulders, Savannah leaned her back against the spa wall and grinned smugly. Very cute guy.
"I thought we had a pretty okay time for being stuck in an elevator. It was like way stuffy, but, you know, we got through it." Quite suddenly, she sat up, beginning to speak with her hands. "Oh my God, could you believe they gave us coupons?" With derivative shake of her head, she said, "Like they didn't give the whole ship coupons! God, it was so tacky."
