Savannah hadn't quite heard Lisa. With no one else in the spa area, she had turned her headphones up a little more loudly than she might have otherwise done.
What finally got her attention was the shadow that had appeared off to the side of her vision. She blinked once, then grinned.
Plucking the headphones out of her ears, she laughed and said, "I'm sorry. What did you say?"
She had been certain she'd never see Lisa again after the elevator fiasco... The former cheerleader hadn't seemed to like her much. Hadn't that been the whole point of seeing CJ this morning?
Well, most of the point.
Maybe they'd get to be good friends after all... Well, now she felt just a little bad...
