Naima spent the morning with her three snakes, Lola, Juanita and Salazar. Lola was the first snake she ever obtained, a Burmese python, and the one she loved the most. Juanita was gifted to her from her brother Carrey's fiance Maria. She named the boa constrictor Juanita because she didn't really care for Maria at the time. The snake, in her eyes, was a kiss-up attempt to buy her affection and she didn't appreciate it much. She was certain it stuck in Maria's craw that when she first picked the boa up she dubbed it Juanita. Now Salazar, he was a snake special to her. The name was a blatant theft from Harry Potter, and Naima could care less. It always made her giggle when she played with her royal python as the name was fitting!
When she was satisfied that each of the snakes were settled and doing well, each having taken a meal, Naima decided it was time to do a little more exploring on the ship. She had spent most of her time in the Circean Delight and The Cult of Dionysus adjusting to the area, considering her performances and everything else that went along with it. She was scheduled free and wanted to take advantage! Naima had never been on a cruise before and promised herself she would indulge as much as possible.
She decided a walk was in order. As she headed down to the 3rd floor, one she was familiar with at this point, she enjoyed the wind running through the tendrils of hair that seemed to pop unbidden from its binding. Her skirt flowed around her knees and she smiled at the delight of it. Up ahead she saw someone sitting by the rail, looking out.
'Alright!' she thought, her excitement growing, 'Someone I haven't met yet! She moved now, with purpose, closing the space between them.
"Hi!" she said with a smile when she got close enough. "Isn't that a little dangerous?" She noted, motioning to the fact that he was sitting on the rail.
