Naima watched the ball move slowly and get much closer to the hole than hers did. She wished she had the skill. She hadn't been pretending to be bad. She had never played before and didn't know how hard to hit the ball. Now she knew and her competitive streak was coming out.
"Well now that you've taught me, oh master, I will do much better." She grinned. "And you're wrong about the snakes. Physicaly strength isn't required. Respect is." She smiled. "I suppose animals and I get along. They just complain so much less than people do." She laughed again and bent down to hit the ball again, this time more gently. It rolled and went passed the hole.
"Darn it." She squinted at the ball. "I will get you my pretty...." She smiled at Ronnie. "Seriously though, I will do better. Your turn!"
