Leah had never handled a cigarette before in her life, and having to put one out was just as foreign as trying to tie her shoes with her teeth. It just didn’t work! It wasn’t as if she was ashamed that she had never smoked something like that in her life, in fact she was rather proud of that little detail, but it made her feel just a little bit more clueless when it came to the various aspects of the world that she knew nothing about. For example? Smoking.
She shifted her weight back and forth between her feet awkwardly and her lips parted open like a goldfish out of water. Should she go back to her room and change or something? She didn’t think that wearing the clothes that she uses to practice in would be too harmful, after all.
Nearly ten expressions crossed over her face before she finally settled on a pout. She shook her head and continued to stammer nervously. “No.. it’s really nothing like that. Maybe I should go and change or something. It really wouldn’t t-take me too long to put on sweats..?” she offered, already inching closer to the door. She didn’t want to make them both uncomfortable, after all.
