That hadn't been her intention but Hell, if it worked, it worked and she wasn't going to fight it. Maeve didn't fight it when he pulled her close and curled up to him. This was better. Much better.
She curled her fingers into his shirt, gripping at the cloth. Although she doubted he was completely useless without her. After all, he'd existed and been useful without her before... But she wasn't going to argue that. She didn't have the energy.
