"Right," Ronnie nodded breathlessly, giving one last look at Cath before putting his hand on Emily's shoulder. "We really appreciate you keeping an eye out on this end," he said, looking directly into her eyes to convey the seriousness of his thanks before he turned and got into the boat. "Alright, even on both sides," he said, waiting for them to get in and secure before starting to lower the boat. "Oh. And Cath. If we take a really long time, just... let Terra Martin know for me, ok?"
He looked down. Maybe it was selfish or stupid to be yelling things like that, but the one thing he didn't want happening was for him to die or go missing and Terra to be left alone, wondering where he was. Clearing his throat he looked down below to the water, then at the volunteers. "This'll be a quick jump aboard, grab whoever's there, get back to the ship. If you see any useful supplies in the water feel free to grab them if it's convenient, but this isn't a salvage. We also need two people to stay with the boat no matter what. And volunteers or questions?"
