And of course, Nikko had followed him into the boat. Bloody beast. "Out," he ordered. While the daft creature was big and strong, he wasn't a trained rescue dog and would likely be in the way. He looked at the girl as he half pushed, half dropped the dog from the boat. "Can you mind Nikko?" he asked her.
He was going. They'd need surefooted, strong people. As long as there wasn't any blood, he'd be fine.
