Ronnie watched the others walk away as well, then listened carefully to Cath's instructions, mentally repeating every one so that he wouldn't forget anything.

The young man withheld a sigh and turned, walking out, hands stuck in his pockets. Part of him wish he was religious. The church was as warm as anywhere on the ship and if he believed in God he might feet a little safer. Still, there was work to be done and he couldn't afford to dwell on matters like this.
