Cath folded his arms over his chest. "You were sleeping," he reminded Sean. "She needs to be interrogated properly. You're the best person to do that, but not mad from sleep debt. Today was soon enough to do it." And really, now Sean understood why Cath wasn't doing it. Sean would do it properly, unlike the ways he'd been taught to interrogate people.
"She's under guard, and not going anywhere. Besides, she could just have snapped. She was bloody mad when I saw her. Better to wait until everyone's had a good sleep to deal with the situation."
He was about to confirm that Lisa was the name of the girl who'd been attacked when Mae went and hugged Ronnie. Mae didn't really hug anyone. She wasn't the sort. Sometimes her parents and him, but wasn't the same thing. He blinked owlishly, so shocked he even forgot to be jealous. This was just turning out to be the strangest day ever.
Ronnie's discomfit made the shock wear off quickly. He chuckled for a moment, then sobered as Mae nodded to him and disappeared into Father Peter's office. He'd talk to her later.
Now back to the conversation at hand. "Lisa was the name of girl she attacked," he said. "But the woman wouldn't talk. At all. Sorry."
