"Ronnie, I presume," Peter said, rising to his feet with his hand extended. Once his hand was shaken, he smiled at the boy and gestured for him to take his seat. He wanted to greet Sean as well. "Good morning, Sean," he told the younger man, gesturing for him to sit down as well.
Once everyone was settled, Peter himself sat down across the aisle from them on the opposite pew. He wasn't the audience here -- this show was for Ronnie and Sean alone.
Cath spilled the beans all at once, no slow build up or hints. Good for him, Peter thought wryly. His eyes went to Sean and Ronnie, waiting expectantly for their reactions.
