Molly's green eyes went huge. "Nope. Unless I'm hearing them too. That wasn't singing." Of course Savannah didn't know about Molly hearing her favorite old lullaby.
Molly looked frantically around. Her voice so soft she mostly mouthed the words as she pointed. "Behind the door. They'll just think someone left it open."
After all, safety required doors closets were lockable from the outside, but if it closed on someone they should not be trapped. So they had to be able to be opened from inside.
Trying to keep the bag still and silent as she moved, Molly slid behind the inward opening door.
