Savannah was slightly lost when she mentioned the copper, but it seemed as though they had at least managed to get everything she wanted. With a relieved sigh, Savannah asked, "Are you sure you can carry it all the way up to the room by yourself?" She looked at the big, bulgy bag dubiously.
A sudden sound from the hallway caught her ear. It sounded like a clang, followed by a soft shuffling noise.
The door they had come through had been left open, but the natural weight of the door had tugged at it until it was only a little ajar. Savannah blinked at it, frowned, then requested softly, "Please tell me I'm hearing things."
