Zoe shrugged. "My parents aren't really anything," she admitted. "They both grew up in China during the Cold War. Religion was sorta outlawed, so they never really got one. I learned about Buddhism from drill team."
She smiled. "Actually, most of my cool stuff is up in Nik's room," she admitted. "Except my candy stash. No idea why I forgot it." She dug around in a drawer in the dresser and came up with a bag. "It's mostly like tootsie rolls and suckers and peppermints," she warned. "But help yourself."
