"My mom and dad are kind of Christian. They had me baptized and taught me all the stuff, but we didn't go to church. Dad said that God knew he was working hard on Sunday to keep his family financially comfortable and safe, and that as long as we followed the rules and kept love in our hearts he didn't mind where we read the Bible. But then, when I was fifteen, and I brought Sarah home and told them I loved her, we didn't read the bible anymore. Mom said God know I was a good person and she didn't think we should be a part of a title that would tell me otherwise."
