"But are you in danger?" Peter asked again, looking at the younger man levelly. This was something he knew Cath had considered, but it was something he wondered if Cath had found an answer to.
If he had, Peter thought, he wouldn't be here.
"I know the choice is not easy, Cath, but I can't help you unless you know the answer to that question first."
His gut instinct was that, no, neither of them were truly in any danger. Sean was a reasonable man, and his experience would protect Cath and Mae from truly being suspect in the death of Graham Shepherd -- or so he hoped. They were revolutionaries, fighting for a purpose. They were not murderers, not like that.
