"Yes. You do," Kjell agreed, turning back to Ash but only to remove the man's hand from his sleeve. His pale fingers were long and callused and tipped with black claws, though his grip wasn't particularly firm and didn't match this fierce presentation. Not yet, anyway. "Regardless, this is not personal. I would say no to anyone. You will have to make do." This was, he knew, more difficult for Toreadors than others. Especially the older ones. But he couldn't allow that to become his problem....no matter how pitiful Ash looked and sounded.
