"Well, I did not think you would wish to..." he paused, looking Rook up and down for a moment before smirking, "In public, anyhow." But he lifted Rook's hand to his lips, kissing the back of it as the door to the private box opened. And there was Joseph looking as wonderful as he always did. It felt like it had been ages but there was always something to do when one was more deeply involved in the court than Ash dared let himself get.
He parted from Rook only briefly to return the hug and give Joseph a quick peck on the cheek, the familiarity between the two allowing for it, he believed. "So I noticed. I do hope it was not too much trouble," he noted politely as they parted and Joseph's attention turned to greeting the Gangrel in question.
Ash's lips twitched in amusement, deciding to go a little old fashioned with the introductions. "It is my intense pleasure to introduce Rook," yes, that had been phrased a very particular way, "And Rook, my very old friend Joseph. He is a cad. Watch his hands." Ash couldn't help himself, covering his mouth with the back of his hand as he laughed.
