Joseph was still fretting a little because Rhys hadn't returned. Not because he didn't think the boy was coming back. More of an impatience to have him close and a general concern for such an inexperienced fledgeling out in the city on his own.
Not that he'd let Rhys go alone. He'd entrusted the safety of his new lover to his oldest, most loyal ghoul. Bruno was no more intimidating in his appearance than Joseph was, but he'd been with the Brujah since the mid 70s. He'd given him a little extra of his blood, just in case, while being careful not give too much. But the experienced ghoul would make a good bodyguard and take Rhys wherever he needed to go.
He was in dire need of a distraction so he didn't keep texting poor Bruno every 20 minutes whether or not Rhys was on his way back from meeting with the sheriff and Ariel. Luckily, Ash and his new beau were coming to the show that night.
Chantal was perched on the arm of the chaise he was sitting on. He'd barely fed on her the night before and while she was no more likely to get more than a Kiss from the Toreador and his new companion, he figured she'd more than earned a second night of entertaining.
The other doll entertaining tonight was a little ash blonde name MacKenzie. Who'd literally gotten into a cat fight with the other dolls because she wanted to meet Ash. Joseph wasn't surprised, he imagined the next time Mab visited there'd be a bigger brawl for her attentions.
He rose when the door to his private box opened and MacKenzie led in Ash and a dark haired Kindred he didn't recognize right off. Joseph was dressed casually for him in a white and navy pinstripe shirt, navy slacks and a vest in deep mahogany with fleur de lis embroidered into the fabric.
Joseph didn't bother with a handshake, instead hugging Ash briefly. "It's been too long," he told him. "You should have seen their faces when I told them you were coming tonight. MacKenzie here, though, won the battle royale."
He turned his attention to the other Kindred and offer his hand. "Hello, I'm Joseph Morvell," he introduced himself. "Welcome to the Paramour."
