For Lydia, the island was hard getting used to. Not that it was a beach since Lydia loved spending hours on the beach with her girlfriends and getting her tan on. Not that it worked due to her fair skin tone, but still she tried. But the island itself was vast and large and none of her family and friends were there to relieve her of her increasing boredom she had. Of course she could have gone shopping, but it was not the same without her friends and her family for that matter. Even with her abilities that still confused her, she didn't want that getting out either. Letting out a groan of frustration, she grabbed her hotel key and jacket and walked out the door and into the bright sun that greeted her when she reached the main entrance of the hotel.
She started walking and was lost in her thoughts and didn't realize she made it to the beach until she looked up and the sounds of the waves crashing on the sand alerted her hearing. She was not sure why, but the beach made her feel peaceful, and she would have thought a day of shopping would have done that, but for some reason the beach was one of the few things that took away all the confusion the island had. With her friends not in sight Lydia found herself feeling more alone than ever. "I want to go home." She said to no one in particular as she walked along the sand, not caring if her heels sunk in the sand, its warmth tickling her toes, when normally she would have been appalled at the idea of damaging her perfect skin. And Beacon Hills itself was not bad, it was just a place that had a lot of fear and danger that she didn't want to face, and yet she still missed it and she was not sure why. Sighing, she continued to walk, letting the wind blow through her red hair, and felt it blow her short skirt as she picked up a few seashells along the way, and then crossed her arms, her thoughts miles away. It was obvious she was unaware someone was following her as she slowly walked along the beach.
