Tommy was in the mood for a long walk. He just needed to get out for a while and think about a few things. He was beyond happy for his friends. They deserved this chance at happiness and he wanted nothing but the best for the both of them. But he was also worried about Felix. He knew he couldn't bare to lost another friend. Everything he had went through had kind of made him closed off to the idea of new friends or even finding anyone for himself. If there was one thing that had stuck with him through everything it was that the ones you got the closest to seemed to be the ones that left you. He had lost so many friends that it was hard for him to draw any other conclusion. And of course the longer he stayed in his room the more he dwelled on these facts, and he found himself getting somewhat depressed. He wanted to take Felix's advice, but he wasn't even sure how to at this point. He knew he liked Tyler, but he didn't want to be the cause of anyone getting hurt. It was with these thoughts that he made his way through along the streets. He allowed himself the time to move slowly. He wasn't in a hurry to get anywhere at the moment. He had already made his way through many of the shops. He was just enjoying his day out, allowing himself to relax and enjoy himself for once. He made his way out of the last shop with a few bags in his hand. He had actually allowed himself to buy something for his own uses. Normally he only bought the bare essentials for himself, preferring instead to do for others but this time he had given in. He decided that maybe Felix was right and he deserved a little for himself sometimes too. Just then was when he found himself having to step aside because there was more people coming into the store. He saw another man coming out of the store behind him, so he tried stepping further over, but he still somehow wound up bumping into him slightly. "I am so sorry...it's crowded here...." he said in a soft tone. |
