Who: Faith Lehane, Cheshire M Cat Where: Dressing Room in real world pulled into Nowhere Island into Tower One Lobby; When: Dusk What: Arrival Rating: TBD
Faith twirled in front of the mirror as she began the tedious job of picking out a bathing suit. Once upon a time she didn't care what she wore; now she did. The third bathing suit was the one she chose. Not only was the color was great against her skin and eyes, it was a perfect fit; it looked as if it were painted on her skin.
When Faith looked good and felt good she had this mischievous twinkle in those beautiful brown orbs of hers. She was known through the slayer ranks for causing problems now and then all in the good name of fun, granted it was fun as Faith defined it, but still fun. Over the years she’d acquired a new hobby, shopping. Not that she didn't still get the ‘ole five figure discount,’ every now and then, but with shopping came all the perks you get from the clerks.
Bing. It was that fast. Her spidey (yes, she calls them spider and not slayer) senses tingling off the charts, tingling in such a way that she couldn't ignore them this time. She picked up her leather pants slid her hand into the right back pocket; she pulled her cell out of the back pocket of the jeans, and then let them slide to the floor.
Instinctively, she picked up her purse, and keep walking. She changed coursed for just a minute when she moved behind the couch; the more she moved forward, I took a step forward; and she stepped back and then repeated the steps until it worked. then pushing it forward so she could get behind it. Once she was in front of the interior wall she did a 180 ° degree turn to look into the mirror. She was a funny sight, at least Faith thought so. She leaned her forehead against the mirror ... .
Before she could even blink her eye, she was somewhere else. Breathing in the smell of saltwater tickled her nose. Her body couldn't help but relax when it should have been on high alert.
The mahogany-headed slayer preferred to make her own travel plans, as she reminded herself under her breath. In the ‘whatever-just-happened’; to bring to me a ‘possible demonic vacation spot’ challenge. ‘This is when I need Giles,’ she thought, wishing him there.
