Who: Raven&Charlie What: Date/getting spoiled Where: Salvatore's When: Backdated to Valentine's Day Why: Charlie wants to spoil Raven Rating:TBA Open: Just to them
If there was one thing Raven was not used to, it was the attention of a man. Granted she had loved once before, but he had died by Voldemort's hand and Raven was not sure if she would ever love again. Add in the fact that her home life was not less than grand, and she had been running when she came to the island. The fear of not knowing if her mother would show up on the island and try to wreck havoc on what little happiness Raven had was an underlying fear. She tried to not let it show that she was worried, but she had an idea that those close to her were suspicious of the fear she had, as well the nightmares she had been having lately. Even more so was the fact that Charlie had shown her more compassion and adoration than she was used to having. As she gazed at herself in the mirror she lightly fingered the necklaces he had given her. One for her birthday and one for Valentines day. She tried not to look nervous, but she was. It had been a long time since she had been on an actual date and she worried that she would mess things up. Taking a deep breath she adjusted the pink and red Indian style dress she wore. She held true to her Indian roots and dressed with care, while leaving her waist length jet black hair loose and flowing. Leaving her room she joined Charlie and allowed him to surprise her where they were going.
And surprised she was as she gazed at Salvatore's. It was no secret that she loved Italian food as much as she loved Indian food, so the smile she gave Charlie a smile, though she tried to hide how nervous she really was as they walked inside and were lead to a table. Looking over at him she spoke, her accent thick as she spoke. "I must admit something, Charlie. I am not used to being so spoiled, especially by you. The kindness and compassion you have shown me is more than what I am used to. I'm afraid that this is the calm before the storm, though I know my mother isn't here and can't harm me anymore." She wanted to be honest with him and speak that she worried that if she let her guard down and gave into happiness, something bad would happen to prevent her from knowing what true love really meant.
