There was many things that George Weasley was really good at. Playing jokes on his family and friends, running a successful joke shop even though he wished that Fred was around to help. But there was one thing that he fully admitted that he was not that good at and it was romancing women, and in this case, romancing Patty. He was not sure if she fancied him like he was starting to towards her, but he just hoped that taking her out to dinner was not going to be a total bust. He was beyond words excited that she said yes when he had been worried that she would say no to him. So he had made reservations at Christienson's in hopes that a quiet dinner together would be a good time for them both.
The fact remained that he was still sad over missing Fred and moving on was harder than it looked.Patty's sweet nature and compassion was something that he liked since no one had ever gone to such great lengths to make sure he would be okay. In the back of his mind, George knew that his twin would have been more at ease with the ladies, succeeding in getting a girlfriend quicker than him due to how Fred was always the outgoing twin and he more reserved. With him trying to move on, George knew he had to get on with his life and that started with tonight. Leading Patty inside the designated place, he smiled down at her, taking in her beauty. "I really hope you enjoy tonight. I must admit I don't have much experience with dating and the like." He said leading her to their table and like the gentlemen he was, he pulled out her chair for her.
