Foxface has been spending far too much time outside. She had been spending most of her time outside on the beach trying to regain her sense of self. The time spent in the Hunger Games still affected her and she didn't want others feeling sorry for her but she preferred to keep to herself. Even after the hurricane, she found herself drawn to the beach that had its moments of calm, and then like she saw in the hurricane moments of destruction. It was a power that even when she was stuck in it, she wished she had. Her time in the arena had scared her, and she had been born confident and strong despite the district she had grown up in wasn’t ideal for her. She didn’t know where she got her love of knife throwing from but as she walked along the beach, she took out one of her knives, one with a curved blade and a white handle and with her name engraved in it. She spun it around don her hand as she walked, trying to remember where she got it. She figured it was from her family but she wasn’t sure. Shaking her head, she continued to stare at it, while other thoughts fluttered in her head.
The wind from the ocean blew through her flame hair and the sun overhead made her hair look like it was on fire as she walked. “Maybe that’s what attracted Jolan.” She thought to herself as a smile came on her face everytime she thought of him. The hurricane was special since we finally admitted that she really cared about him more than she thought. Her heart skipped just a little as she thought of that night. She wanted more but she was not sure how to ask. She was shy when it came to relationships. Since this was her first one she didn’t want him not being tired of her. Smiling to herself she continued to walk, lifting her head to the sun, feeling peace washover her. She was lost in her own thoughts that she didn’t notice someone close by watching her.
