"Shhhh, little one," Diana sad softly, as she stroked Bonnie's hair. The lights in the room flickered, some even exploded. The princess knew that the unconscious woman was doing this. For the first time Diana was uncertain as to what to do. Bonnie wasn't in shape to travel. But it was clear she didn't want to be here.
Then she screamed. It was such a horrific scream it made the hairs on Diana's arms stand at attention.
"Can you give her something for the pain?" Diana asked her voice filled with annoyance. This was a hospital they should take care of the poor girl.
"Everything will be alright," she continued talking in Bonnie's ear. "I know you don't want to be here, but your injuries are too severe." She said softly making sure the annoyance did not come through. If the woman could hear her all she would read off of her voice was calmness and caring.
