"Got a good head on your shoulders," he smiled and gave a bit of a nod.
After a bit of a pause, he turned to look at her again. "So, Drew, just a friend, or something more?" There was no air of judgement, or fatherly disapproval. He kept his tone as light as he could. He accepted the fact that his daughter was not a little kid, and that she had an entirety of a life outside of the short amount of time they had been on the island together. All said and done, she was on a better path than he was at the same point in his life, and that was enough to make him proud of her.
