Carefully, she took April's head and lay it on the floor. Running to April's room, she found the open laptop, unplugged it and brought it back to where April was laying. She felt like she did when she was young and scared.
Once again, she put April's head in her lap. "Just hold on a few minutes more and this will be over for now," she said softly.
Picking up the laptop she began to read:
