The pain subsided a little, enough for April to respond, though with a heavy stutter. "I'm...I'm f...fine." April answered, breathing heavily. "This hh.-h-happens a l-l-lot. It ususally...usually pass...pa..."As the pain returned, April leaned forward onto her elbow, gripping her head so tightly she looked like she was trying to crush it. Her eyes were screwed up titght and her lips pursed so that they were turning white. Then the prophetic vision took over and the pain disappeared. She opened her eyes and sat up dead straight in her chair, resting her hands on the table.
When she was channeling prophecies, she was never consciously aware of what she was saying, or of her environment. All she was aware of was the images that flashed through her mind as the prophecy played out. But somewhere deep in her subconscious, some part of her heard what she was saying, and the same was just as true this time. "Beware the blade." April announced flatly, her voice gravely from the effort of channeling. "As the sun reaches it's peak, your heart will rest on the tip of a blade and you will lose something more precious to you than your own life. Beware the blade as the sun peaks high." As the prophecy came to an end the pain and dizziness returned, so overwhelmingly blinding that she could no longer bear it. Her eyes rolled back under her fluttering eyelids, and with a final sigh of "ooh!" she collapsed sideways out of her chair and onto the hard tiled floor, and passed out.
