Absorbed as she had been, the disturbance of her thinking had come as a surprise to Kastra. She hadn't expected anyone to sit near her, and she certainly did not anticipate the dramatic way in which her thoughts had been interrupted. Pulling her train of thought away from reflection and into the present, Kastra shifted in her seat so as to get a better look at the girl who obviously distressed.
"Are you okay?" she asked. Not that she particularly cared, but it was obvious that this girl - whom Kastra soon identified as a seventh-year Gryffindor - was not caught up in the latest scandal to hit the NAA. It would be refreshing to discuss something else for a change. And besides, Kastra was trying to play the part of a bleeding heart. She had to keep up appearances.
