Kastra shrugged. "I suppose it's accurate to say that Durmstrang isn't for everyone, but it is a very good school." Alice was an odd eater. Kastra glanced away from her and surveyed the food on the table. It still didn't seem too appealing, but she was technically there to eat. And it would distract her from watching Alice choke herself on her food. After a moment of consideration, she selected a ham sandwich. The casserole and steak dishes just seemed too heavy for that particular evening.
She placed it on her plate, in order to answer Alice before her mouth was too full to do so. "There are aspects about Hogwarts I like, and aspects I don't," she said, keeping her tone neutral. "I feel as though a couple of courses should be done away with in favor of better classes. Such as divination." That was a safe choice, as Kastra knew that many of Hogwarts' students found the class to be a waste of time. "And I feel like Durmstrang caters more to the individual wizard or witch than Hogwarts does. I was able to get tutored in subjects unrelated to my coursework there." And here at Hogwarts, she couldn't find a tutor in nonverbal magic to save her life...which it could do one day, if she could just learn more.
"But," Kastra continued, keeping in mind her current mission. "Hogwarts is rich in kind people and big thinkers. Without Hogwarts, I would have never been able to make a stand."
