Spring Has Sprung in Mayhill

Who: Open to Anyone
What: Spring (Dry) Cleaning
Where: Miss Soo's Laundromat
When: Sunday evening
Rating: NA/TBD

Though Asher had been doubtful that the weather reports would prove true, the forecasted snowstorm had in fact hit the area with a dizzying amount of force. Now, not even 24 hours, the last of the residual flakes were melting and leaving in their place globs of mud that made walking across town nearly impossible. Sinkholes here and there, spatters everywhere, and that sickening noise like a cow chewing its cud with every lifting of the foot. It was really a wonder that he had made it to the laundromat at all. The young city boy was really not used to this much nature.

It was the first day of spring, though, and what better time could there be to begin the ritualistic cleaning that marked this time of year? Not only that, but with his college's Spring Break coming to a swift conclusion, if he didn't do some serious washing he was going to look quite the fool for the rest of the semester. The lights and darks and dry-clean-onlys had been separated into their respective piles, and Asher had laid claim to four of the few washers within the space. Nothing was dirty, earnestly, but a little cleaning never hurt anything.

With the clothing cycling around in the humming machines, Asher wandered over to a nearby table. Sitting cross-legged in the worn chair, he flipped his notebook to a fresh page and began to tap gently on its surface with the cap of his black pen.
