The Redwater Grille, locally known as Lou's: CONFIRMED haunted
The ghost wears a hat, but it's not red. I assume "red" came from the name of the restaurant. He died in the early 1940s, so he's ancient. He sang "Sing, Sing, Sing (With a Swing)" to me; he has a good voice.
I was in a hurry this time, so I didn't ask his age, but he looked to be only in his late thirties/early forties. He got shot ... that much was obvious. Nice ghost, though. His name is Charlie Hines.
I'm not convinced he'd try to possess you. He said he didn't die at Lou's, but he hangs around there for the music (apparently they play a lot of swing). The worst he'd do is use you to dance (and if he does I hope I'm there to see it), but he's a very strong spirit. I'm not surprised someone spotted him.
In more general news, the charity dinner thing was okay. I saw your family there. Fun, but you didn't miss out on much.
