Who: Anyone!
What: BPD Charity event
When: Sunday, May 8 (slightly frontdated)
Where: The Redwater Grille (Lou's steakhouse)
Rating: G-PG-13, if you go any higher please move it to a different thread!
Anyone who takes one glance around the dining room of Lou's will quickly come to the conclusion that the main event of the night will be the kitchen. The room is designed so that the kitchen purposefully encroaches into the eating area; but it's closed off by transparent, domed glass.
The dining room walls are lined with smart glass (featuring various outdoor scenes – some of which do not exist in Boston), and are inset with video screens that, once the kitchen is in use, will show various angles of the talented staff cooking meals for their patrons.
Throughout the night, head chef Frank Ellis will be using his ability of pyrokinesis to manipulate flames in the kitchen to cook the night's entrees just right. It's as much a performance as a culinary feat: entertaining, functional, delicious.
The money raised from the event will go toward Boston Police Department's Youth Charities to build relationships between law enforcement and the youth of Boston (and the surrounding areas). The BPD's Youth Charities' goal is creating scholarships, funding recreational activities, and providing mentors for the young people of Massachusetts.
