and sign up for the plot.

This plot is going to be a surprise plot, so you will have very few details before signing up, but we think that's part of the fun. Here are the very minor details:

Your character must not be completely human: they must have something unique about them, a power, be an alien, anything that isn't just basic humans like you and me.

Your character will not be able to be played for a short period of time.

Your character may be injured, but they will not be seriously hurt or killed.

There are no limits to how many characters you can offer, or where they are located.

Okay everyone, last chance to sign up for the upcoming plot.

On Tuesday morning, I will be switching over from sign ups to power claims. I want us to have a few days to work out claims before the plot is scheduled to start, so sign up now if you want to play!

Good morning, folks (shit it's definitely the afternoon)

Within the next week or so, some of the residents here of the islands are going to start to feel a little bit... odd. When they wake up on April 1st, they are going to have experienced a good, old fashioned POWER SWAP.

Now, people are eligible for this plot even if they do not have powers already. Every single person in play can be a part of the plot, all you have to do is sign up.

STEP ONE Comment here with any characters (in one comment, in 10 comments, however you like to keep stuff organised for yourself) AND please also give me their power. This saves me the Google later if I'm unfamiliar with your character.

STEP TWO I create the list of participants below the lj-cut at the bottom of this page. You sit back and relax.

STEP THREE YOU PICK THE POWER THEY GET! whoo this is the fun, gpsl part of it, you get to have a say in what your character ends up with. One claim per power (I will keep track as it goes on my step two table). If you do prefer randomness, you can go ahead and let me know (please tell me either way though, if I don't hear anything I'm going to assume you changed your mind about participating). YOU CAN PICK FOR THEM TO LOSE THEIR POWER AND GET NONE IN RETURN, so you would be claiming one of the "unpowered" participants.

Notes:
In the event of more unpowered participants than powers, I am going to pick some powers from mediums so that there are enough to go around.

While you are welcome to mimic the source material, your character does not necessarily have to wake up with the exact incarnation of the power they swap into. For example, Irene here gets groggy bits and pieces of her visions now that she's older, but your character can have clearer visions and have more control of them.

This is in process, because there's a few people on here who I'm not sure are still in game or not, heh, that's what I get for not taking care of who plays who. PLEASE, there's a new section, put your name down next to the character you play, so next month this will be easier. I already filled in some.

Speak up if you want someone added to the purge or if they're still in game and shouldn't be purged. Or just put them in red if you want them removed.
