Sidney knew it wasn't easy trying to make a fresh start. She'd been there many times before, each time only to be hunted down and stalked by a serial killer. That was neither here nor there though, this wasn't about her, this was about helping someone else through something if she could.
Sidney didn't know how much her words meant to the young woman, but it was worth a shot at least in her opinion.
"Yeah, trying is the first step. That's all you can do really." She was starting to feel a little bit of pain in her lower abdomen, and she wondered if it was time for another pill or if she just needed to get up and move around. "It does. Idle hands are the devil's playground, or something like that." She laughed softly, and lifted a shoulder. "Of course, anytime you need anything, I'm here to lend an ear or shoulder if you need to cry." Sidney stood, wincing slightly in pain although it wasn't as bad as it had been when she'd first arrived.
"I know there were times in the past when I could've used someone like that, so the offer is always open, okay?" She smiled softly at Davina, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "I'm going to the office for a bit, if you need me just come grab me alright?" She removed her hand, and started back to where her office was located. It wasn't much, but she really did hope that she'd done something good for Davina.
