Death was inevitable for everyone. Rachel knew that, but in that moment it still didn't seem fair. Of course, everyone probably felt that way about losing someone they loved, be it family, friends, significant other. Life wasn't fair, she knew that, but she still felt an emptiness inside of her that she didn't think would ever be replaced.
Reaching up, Rachel finally wiped the tears away, a sad smile on her lips. "Yeah, I said dads. They were together, they used a surrogate to have me. She's an awesome lady. I met her a few years ago." Rachel was thankful that she'd gotten to meet Shelby, and that Shelby had gotten to adopt her own child after everything was said and done.
"My dads are Hiram and LeRoy Berry. Both great guys, supportive, they would do absolutely anything for me." Except she knew that they'd been against her and Finn getting married at such a young age. Rachel knew they had her best interest in mind, but now? Now she wished that Finn hadn't listened to anyone, and that even if it'd just been a little while she could've been Rachel Hudson.
She watched them both curiously, shaking her head. "No, I honestly didn't think that it would be. That's -- interesting." She'd never seen anything like it, even if the guy said he was from New York, it was unlikely that they were from the same New York. The name Stark meant little to nothing to her, if she was being honest, but she didn't want to say anything about it out loud.
"What is that?" She pointed at the suit, and then looked back at him. "I know it's a suit, but -- why do you have it?"
