WHEN WILL OUR LEADERS DO ANYTHING ABOUT THE HOMELESS PROBLEM IN CARDBOARD CITY? IT IS CLEAR FROM THAT NAVARRO TRIAL THAT THE HOMELESS PROBLEM GETS WORSE EVERY DAY.

HOW LONG SHOULD ANY OF US LIVE IN THIS STATE OF FEELING UNSAFE? HOW MANY MORE PEOPLE NEED TO BE SHOT AND KILLED BY THESE AWFUL VAGRANTS BREAKING AND ENTERING INTO OUR HOMES BEFORE THE MAYOR OR THE POLICE TAKE ACTION ON CLEARING THEM OUT? WHO WILL BE NEXT? WHERE WILL IT HAPPEN? I AM A RESIDENT OF QUINNEY HEIGHTS WHO IS VERY CONCERNED BECAUSE I KNOW THAT MY HOUSE WOULD BE AN ATTRACTIVE TARGET.

SPORTS CLUB MEETING:

Welcome to November and the official end of baseball season. In its place, all are welcome to participate in a friendly game of football this upcoming Saturday, November 8 in Miller Park. If interested, please meet in the center of the park at noon.

No padding or special equipment needed. The game will be played (and enforced) with touch football rules, and the pigskin will be provided by organizers. Bring your shoes and your competitive spirit. See you there.

Thursday night we're having another get together at 7:30, and this will be our last before the show at the Harvest Festival. New members are welcome as always, just bring your own supplies for knitting, crocheting, tatting, and the like. Submissions for the fair are due at the end of the night.
