OPEN THREAD!
WHO: Siobhan and OPEN Kaleb!
WHEN: June 24th
WHERE: The Lake!
WHAT: Sib is sunbathing.
OPEN: Duh!
RATING: It's Sib. Who knows?!
The Seelie ball had been brilliant, one of the best so far she thought, and it had definitely been worth returning early for. Siobhan still couldn't believe the news. Aerinn wasn't a close friend, but she liked the girl well enough. They were both of the same temperament, so the redhead figured it had to be a huge shock to learn she was being arranged into marriage. Not only that, but to someone who was NOT of her own choosing. If it had been Sib, she would have thrown a fit. Things would have been broken and people would have been crying on a daily basis after crossing her path. Luckily for all, it wasn't her, but she couldn't deny feeling bad for Aerinn. The ball had reminded her of how lucky she was NOT to be royal or noble by birth, though she was still going to try and talk to her friend the next time she saw the other fae. Very few students had returned, however, so Sib was content to wait. It was nice to have the school so quiet. She wasn't used to the silence, the peacefulness, and it was oddly soothing. One wouldn't expect the feisty redhead to find quiet and solitude therapeutic, but a lot about Siobhan O'Callaghan would surprise many people.
She was especially glad not to have four brothers running around causing trouble and noise wherever they went. Sib loved her brothers, there was no doubt about that, but they drove her bloody mad. Often they did it on purpose, pushing her buttons and baiting her constantly, but there were also times when they did it just by being boys. While she would miss them as time wore on after break finished, right now Siobhan was pleased as punch to be on her own again. It was a gorgeous day out, so she decided a little sunbathing was in order. There was little else more relaxing than just lying under the rays of the sun, and Sib figured she could always dip into the lake if she got too hot. Once the decision was made, it took her no time at all to get ready. The longest part was braiding her red hair into two low braids, since that made it easier when she was outside in the heat. Her bathing suit was next, and grabbing a towel as her feet slid into her sandals completed the process.
Minutes later, Sib was sprawled lakeside, sunglasses covering bright green eyes as she used her purse as a pillow. The towel acted as a blanket of sorts, and the slight breeze ruffling her hair just made her sigh happily. Perfection.
