Shane widened his eyes playfully at the little blonde in front of him as she teased him about being her Secret Admirer. "That is a very pretty necklace," he teased back. "Someone must really like you." The smile slid across his lips more, unable to keep the straight face. He nodded and reached out to trace a finger along the place where the necklace fell. "And the flowers from your secret admirer? What did you think of those? I hear he had a hell of a time picking out the perfect flowers for you, because red roses just wouldn't do." That silly stupid grin on his lips was totally new to him, and he couldn't shake it.
A piece of her golden hair fell over her face and he tucked it back behind her ear gently, his fingers lingering over her face before he took his hand back. He still had a hand on the small of her back holding her to him and it occurred to him that leaning against the door wasn't the best of places to continue this conversation. Gently pushing off the door, he slid his hand from her back to her hand and pulled her towards the bed.
"I think sitting down will make this conversation more comfortable," he said with a soft grin as he sat on the bed and pulled her down with him. Leaning in he kissed her again, because he could and he wanted to.
