THREAD: XIAH & ORIKA
WHO: Xiah and Rika
WHEN: Monday night October 12th, around 11pm
WHERE: Orika’s dorm room
WHAT: A drunk Xiah goes to see one of his best friends in quite a state.
RATING: Who knows. I have no idea what this drunk idiot will do.
OPEN: No, probably not.
He had been on Instagram when he had scrolled down to see some new pictures of Mina, from her new Chanel campaign and it had hurt his heart to see her so beautiful, know she was so close to him, but so far away. Xiah was still angry and confused as to why she broke up with him, without so much as an explanation. She had cried and run away from him and he couldn’t figure out what he did. And his father had told him it was all for the best anyway, the Japanese girl wasn’t right for him and it just wasn’t proper for him to be dating her anyway. But that photo had lead him to clicking on her account and just scrolling through her pictures. And then he had spent the next hour looking at articles and pictures of her on the internet, each one making him more and more emotional. That was when the drinking had started. And then a rumor about her and her co-star dating had surfaced and even though he knew the nature of rumors, he just couldn’t handle it and he slammed closed his lap top and grabbed the bottle of JD, his jacket and went in search of someone to hang out with to distract him from Mina. His older brother had mentioned dinner plans with Suki, so he didn’t go looking for Riku, who didn’t understand why Xiah was even still hung up on Mina. Many of his drunk texts had gone unanswered and he assumed his friends were all busy.
Xiah stumbled as he walked through the halls, the numbers of the dorm rooms all blurring together so the tiger couldn’t quite figure out where he was. He stopped to peer closely at one of the doors and made out the numbers. It was not the number he was seeking. Raising the open bottle of liquor to his lips, he took a hefty swig, then wiped his mouth with the sleeve of his leather jacket, before heading in the direction of his friend’s room. Someone paused as they passed him, asking him in English if he needed help finding a room. He shook his head and spoke in Korean “I know where I’m going.” The student, an attractive blonde American female looked confused, because she obviously didn’t have any idea what the idol was saying in his native language. Xiah started to walk away and then frowned, suddenly disoriented. Was he going the right direction? The girl hovered a moment and he turned back to her.
“Orika Ehime?” he managed to get out without slurring it too badly. She nodded then and pointed in the direction he had been going. “Down three doors.” He smiled at her and she smiled back. Even drunk, the idol was charming and he winked at her, blowing her a kiss as he sauntered down the hallway to the door he wanted. Peering at the numbers, he nodded, satisfied that he was at the right room and knocked loudly. It should have occurred to him that his best friend might very well have company, but in the state he was in, it did not.
When the door opened, Xiah grinned what he hoped was his most charming smile at the beautiful vampire. “Noona!” He exclaimed his smile wide on his face. When he spoke it was all in Korean, as the tiger was too drunk to speak English. “I almost couldn’t find your room, but the pretty blonde girl down the hallway helped me.” He looked down the hall and she was still there, watching him. He smiled a very Xiah Hero smile and wiggled his fingers at her. She blushed and he laughed as he looked back to Rika. “I am very drunk,” he stated as he showed her the bottle. “Would you like some?” His smile started to falter at the edges, as if he couldn’t pretend to be okay and happy for very long. “I can share with you noona.”
