Who: Sawyer and Zane
When: Around 11pm on June 24th
Where: A club in Baltimore
What: A chance meeting at a dance club!
Rating: I'm not even going to pretend to know where this is going...
Sawyer had enough of the Seelie court. She desperately needed a break from all the shit they kept trying to make her do. Her fancy relatives were trying to make a lady out of her and Sawyer wanted nothing to do with it. She liked who she was. Her brothers were handing the change a lot better. So she didn't feel that guilty about leaving them as she packed some clothes in her backpack. It was only going to be a few days anyway. She just needed a breather.
If she could say anything about her time so far at the mystic veil she had at least learned a lot about magic and using it to get back to Baltimore made the trip a hell of a lot faster. She got there Saturday night and crashed at Sasha's. She missed her friends but there was something different now. She was only too willing to ignore it though. It was her intention to head back to her brothers in the middle of the week so when Monday came she was completely ready to spend another night at the clubs. She dressed in her normal style.
She lost herself in the music for hours. It took a familiar pair of grabby hands to bring her back. "Jamal, don't grab me like that!" She told her ex boyfriend as she pushed his hands away. It had been his grabby and possessive nature that had made her break up with to begin with and he had not handled that break up well. Sawyer really didn't didn't want to see him now. As she turned to walk away from him Sawyer's eyes fell on another familiar face. Zane? What the hell was he doing here? She made a mental note to avoid him as well but she didn't get far before Jamal grabbed hold of her arm.
"I think you should come hang out with me." he told her as he tried to pull her back to him. "I think not." she answered trying to pull back. But he was a hell of a lot stronger than she remember him being and her pull did little except make him tighten his grip. "OWw, Jamal, let go of me." she told him again, "My boyfriend will be really unhappy if he sees this." She spoke of a boyfriend without thinking. She had no boyfriend and she had no idea what she was going to do if Jamal called her out on that fact.
