Oh man, I can't believe I spent the day as a cat. It's too bad Amethyst couldn't see it. I think she would have liked that. ~~Not a single cat finger.~~ Anyway, my cupcake curse wore off so maybe everyone else's will, too?

Is anyone else feeling better after eating one of those cupcakes? I know some people are still affected but maybe this is a sign that it'll only last a day or two? Or maybe something I did broke the curse? Or maybe it was because Billy spent the day taking care of me and we have to take care of each other? Or maybe it's because I'm sort of space royalty? I mean, I'm former royalty sort of and it's kind of embarrassing to talk about but aren't curses broken by royalty in fairytales? Maybe it has something to do with that? ~~Maybe my healing spit could do something? ...I'll find someone to test that on.~~

Alright so you fed me and took care of me during the day. Maybe if we get some wood polish and make sure you're in working order, doing that will help you feel better and turn back into your regular self again?

Oh. Um. I have a lot of powers and one of them is shapeshifting but I don't always have great control over it and one time when I went through a really hard time I basically felt like a monster so I turn into a giant kaiju and then another week I was a werewolf and that felt like the time I turned into a kaiju and that really freaked me out I sort of tend to turn pink when I get emotional ~~sort of like now but I'll just do my breathing exercises and it'll be fine~~ anyway we were at another Derleth where everyone was having a really hard time and I met my kaiju self except I was afraid to tell everyone it was me because no one here knew I could do that yet and then kaiju Stevie got loose and destroyed Butler Hall and a lot of people got hurt so that was kind of on me but everyone was really nice and we help kaiju Stevie and she turned back into herself but then another week I was a druid and I turned into a wolf and I learned that it's okay to shapeshift and it doesn't have to be scary or bad like that time I almost aged to death on my 12th birthday but I still didn't try it but the first time I tried to shapeshift I tried turning myself into a cat but instead gave myself cat fingers and then I was covered in fluffy cat faces and it almost got really bad and so I think that's why I turned into a cat this time.

I'm just used to helping people. Or fighting. Mostly helping people. Fighting never really solved things like talking it out did. I think people need help now, I just really don't want to mess this up again. And I don't want to lie about what happened in the past because people should know, but sometimes it's a lot and I felt terrible about not telling people before.

	Sixteen, sir. I guess I'm a washed up leader of the Crystal Gem rebellion. I was sort of raised to take my mom's place and defend the Earth. No. ~~I miss them. Last week I should have just turned straight home to Beach City. Unless that wasn't really my family. Like some weird other family.~~ I have friends here though. And Carver has looked out for me. 	I don't think the gems really understood the concept of age when they took me in to train me. They're non-organic lifeforms that come out exactly who they're supposed to be. I mean, my mom renounced her claim on Earth so it would be free so I didn't really inherit it. I do, but I think I'm going to check on some of my friends first. Thanks for listening to me. That's not an excuse. You're you. And I'm not trying to insult you when I say, you're a kid. You deserved to be one. ~~It's trash they took that away.~~

I get it. Take care of what you have to. Just remember my favor, to breathe evenly if it gets crazy. And let me know if you're interested in some classic cake-bread I'm told doesn't really exist anymore in my homeworld. Probably something about calories or nutrition... I'm just looking for apples right now.

	I've lived 40 years and science can't figure out how much my body's aged since a hundred years ago being frozen in ice. I'll let you know when I've found some, and a batch of snacks are ready.
