Looks like another dreary day in the City. Does someone want to fix this? I was hoping for at least a break in the clouds at some point.

Yeah, because you're at a school for magic users. Not superheroes. They don't get a school and just appear. And they're annoying.

I don't know. It's like I'm meant to have that opinion and there are memories to back it up, but that's not the memory I feel in the back of my mind. I don't know what the memory is back there, but it's like I know the opposite to be true, but I have nothing to back it up that I can truly remember. Am I making any sense, right now?

Is it like a dream? Because normally, we wake up in Derleth or at least near a Derleth and remember it. But I woke up in this dorm and it all seems familiar. Even the basic magic that I do seems familiar. But you know that I have never had any other magic in my life except for summoning light.

I also vaguely remember living with people like in an orphanage here.

No, it's that feeling again. That all of this is not real. You talked about Ravka before and it felt like someone had pitched me into the East River. How do I even know what the East River is? Alina, I don't like this. It feels wrong and like I can't stop the dream. Why is mine worse than yours? I remember the First Army. I remember the Fold. I remember you saving me. But it's a struggle not to think Empire City is where I'm from and react that way. I hate this but tell me something else I should remember? And if I don't, I'll believe you.
