Sizeable Problem - Day 1 Who: Rodney and OPEN What: Trying to eat - Good luck Rodney When: Friday Morning Where: Cafeteria Rating: Low (high in complaining)
Rodney woke up in his SGA uniform as he normally did when the university 'resetted'. He wasn't sure he liked that term considering reset meant to go back to a base normal and so far there was not a day of normal at all. After he had done the obligatory theme park adventure with John - and yes, he had some fun even though he was pretty sure the Mickey at the parade gave him a death glare - Rodney went about working on the small piece of vibranium that Shuri had given him. He had been entirely surprised by the present and in the moments when he wasn't fascinated by the new element that wasn't from their world, he dwelled on what he was supposed to get her in return. He didn't want to share the ZPM that he had, but he probably should, right? He didn't think Shuri would like something like flowers or a card.
The thought made him a little more grumpy than usual before his morning coffee. He didn't even notice things were off until he made it to the kitchen and things were... very high up. "Huh." He blinked as he craned his neck up. For a man who was quite literally a genius, it took Rodney McKay a moment to up two and two together. When he did, his eye shot open and panic flooded his face. "Okay, okay, let's think this through. Either you're -" he did a quick calculation. "One foot tall - that's got to be entirely wrong - or the kitchen is something like... twelve feet tall." He looked down at himself and his appendages and did a few more calculations in his head. "Oh my God, I am on foot tall." The look of horror on Rodney's face was evident - if you happened to spot him anyway.
