The minute he saw Gabriel, he knew his brother had been crying. It was clear in the slight puffiness and red tinge of his eyes, and he grimaced slightly, frowning as he looked to the other man worriedly. Gabriel rarely ever cried, as far as Peter knew, and the idea that something had upset him enough to cause tears? That did NOT sit well with Peter, at all. He gave Gabe a soft smile, though, reaching out and pulling his brother into a tight hug, just as the other man hugged him back, just as tight. It felt like forever since he'd seen his big brother, and now they were both here, and they were both (relatively) safe and sound. Peter hadn't been sure before if or when this would ever happen again, and he wasn't going to waste the chance to be close to Gabe again.
"I missed you, Gabe. So much . . ." The words were out, muffled by the taller man's shoulder, his eyes closing for a long moment or two.
