Honestly, things with his girlfriend had changed so quickly Tyr's head was still spinning a little. Not that any of the changes were bad. Actually they were very very good but it was still happening fast. It still felt like yesterday that they had discovered she had a twin and now she was living with said twin, who had pulled her out of the shitty situation and also ended that situation. Tyr chose not to think about how she ended that whole situation.
The thing about this new situation was that with Tam being more free it meant that Tyr could now spend more time with her. Which was honestly amazing. but it also brought up some... feelings that he hadn't really had to deal with. Well at least not in the sense of it actually being a possibility. Or maybe it wasn't and he was getting way ahead of himself. Was he just being a stereotypical boy who couldn't keep one thing off his mind as he spent time with his beautiful girlfriend? He really hoped he wasn't He was trying not to have his mind run away with him as they walked home. They had just had a fantastic date he didn't want to spoil it by being distracted.
Tam spoke next to him and all his worry disappeared from his mind. his attention fully returned to her. It was pretty easy for him to see she was chilled. "wouldn't it be even chillier up there?" he asked trying to be funny. The words barely left his mouth when he realized that it was more dumb than funny, "Oh right... the feathers." He laughed as he moved to wrap his arm around her. The long sleeves of his jacket and his gloves protected his skin from any accidental touches. Tyr was starting to get a little bit of control of his abilities as he got older, but it was still unpredictable.
"How about I just keep you warm until we get home?" he asked as he held her close. "What do you want to do when we get back home?" he asked. He wanted it clear he didn't want their night to end. he fully intended to spend more time with her tonight.
